Recently, Management World, a top journal in management studies, officially published the academic paper "Digital Intelligence Management Model: Concept Definition, Theoretical Framework, and Future Prospects" in Issue 5, 2026. The paper was co-authored by Professor Sun Xinbo from NEU, Lecturer He Zhiwei from Nanjing University of Finance and Economics, and doctoral student Li Junyue from NEU. As the first systematic theoretical achievement published in the field of digital intelligence management, it marks a landmark original breakthrough for NEU in the field of digital intelligence management and the construction of the independent knowledge system of Chinese management.
It is reported that Professor Sun Xinbo has long been deeply engaged in frontier research directions including management philosophy, value co-creation in digital intelligence ecosystems, and AI and enterprise management model transformation. He serves as the chief expert of the Major Program of the Major Program of the National Social Science Fund, "Research on the Widespread Use of Robots and Enterprise Management Model Transformation" (24&ZD080), and as the principal investigator of the Key Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, "Research on Theories and Methods of Enterprise Value Co-creation in Digital Intelligence Ecosystems" (72332001). He has published multiple high-level research achievements in authoritative journals including Management World, and his academic influence continues to grow. In recent years, Professor Sun Xinbo's team has continued to advance indigenous management innovation, bridging theory and practice. The team's case project, "Haier Group's Ecological Micro-enterprises: Practical Exploration of Human-machine Collaboration Driving Management Paradigm Shift," was successfully approved as a key project of the 17th National Hundred Excellent Management Cases. Together with this publication in Management World, these achievements form a virtuous cycle of theoretical innovation and practical validation, underscoring NEU's leading position in digital intelligence management, management case development, and the construction of the independent knowledge system of Chinese management.
