Professor Fei Teng’s Team at the School of Life Sciences of NEU Publishes New Research Findings on the Noncoding Genome in Nature Communications, a Sub-journal of Nature

On August 11, the research group led by Professor Fei Teng at the School of Life Sciences and Health, NEU, in collaboration with the team led by Professor Huang Jialiang at the School of Life Sciences, Xiamen University, published a research paper online in the international academic journal Nature Communications titled “Towards Efficient Perturbation for the Noncoding Genome”. Zhang Han, a doctoral student at the School of Life Sciences and Health, NEU, and Luo Shijie, a doctoral student at the National Institute for Data Science in Health and Medicine, Xiamen University, are co-first authors; Professor Fei Teng and Professor Huang Jialiang are co-corresponding authors.

This study was supported by projects such as the National Key R&D Program of China and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Strong support for the aforementioned work was also provided by institutions and platforms including the School of Life Sciences and Health of NEU, the Experimental Technology Center of the School of Life Sciences, the Biomedical Laboratory of NEU, the Interdisciplinary Research Center for Brain-Computer Interfaces, the National Frontiers Science Center for Industrial Intelligence and System Optimization, and the Liaoning Key Laboratory of Biological Resources Development and Utilization.
