The results of the 2026 Showcase of Outstanding Achievements in University One-Stop Student Communities, hosted by the Department of Ideological and Political Work of the Ministry of Education and organized by the National University Ideological and Political Work Network, were recently announced. Two projects recommended by NEU were recognized as outstanding achievements: “A Three-Stage Collaborative Lecture Series to Inspire Commitment to National Rejuvenation and Enhance Educational Impact in One-Stop Student Communities: The Practice of the ‘Fostering Talent for National Rejuvenation’ Student Party Member Outreach Group” and “Books as a Bridge: Building a Book-Rich Educational Ecosystem in One-Stop Student Communities.” NEU has now received honors for eight projects in this national showcase over four consecutive years. These achievements highlight the university’s distinctive practices and educational accomplishments in developing one-stop student communities.

These achievements have been featured in more than 30 reports by media outlets, including Xinhuanet and Weiyan Education. Xinhuanet’s special program, “Distinguished Teachers Leading the Way: Shared Reading Moments,” featuring counselors, has garnered more than 1.677 million views. A vibrant culture of reading widely, selecting quality books, and reading effectively has taken root across student communities. The book-rich student community serves as a dynamic platform for cultural education, nurturing a sense of devotion to the country, and fostering a culture of reading.
