更新日期: 2026-04-26

Recently, the list of approved key projects for the 17th “National Top 100 Excellent Management Cases” was announced, and the project titled “Haier Group’s Ecological Micro-enterprise: Practical Exploration of Management Paradigm Transformation Driven by human-machine Collaboration,” submitted by the team of Professor Sun Xinbo from the School of Business Administration, was successfully approved. This project is also a phased achievement of the Major Program of the National Social Science Fund of China (NSSFC) “Research on the Widespread Use of Robot and the Transformation of Enterprise Management Models” (24&ZD080), and the Key Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) “Research on the Theory and Methods of Enterprise Value Co-creation in Digital-Intelligent Ecosystems” (72332001), both led by Professor Sun Xinbo.

The selection of the National Top 100 Excellent Management Cases is guided by the National Steering Committee for MBA Education and represents a highly authoritative case development initiative in the field of business administration in China. The evaluation meeting for key projects of this edition was held in Chengdu in April 2026, and since the call for applications was launched in December 2025, a total of 33 applications from 24 institutions were received; after multiple rounds of selection including preliminary review, expert correspondence review, and on-site defense, applicants were required to complete an 8-minute presentation and a 5-minute Q&A session, and approval required votes from more than two-thirds of the experts. The implementation period for the approved projects is two years, and after passing subsequent correspondence reviews, the projects may participate in the final evaluation of the National Top 100 Excellent Management Cases.

Closely aligning with the development trends of artificial intelligence and digitalization, the project focuses on the frontier topic of “management Paradigm Transformation under human-machine Collaboration,” and takes Haier Group’s Ecological Micro-enterprise as a practical carrier to explore pathways for digital-intelligent technologies to empower innovation in enterprise management. Previously, Professor Sun Xinbo’s team had three key cases successfully approved for inclusion, and this new approval of another key project once again demonstrates the team’s sustained commitment and stable strength in this field. In addition, the textbook Management Philosophy independently authored by Professor Sun Xinbo won the Special Prize for Outstanding Textbooks at the Third The Commerce Economy Association of China Awards, and it is also a landmark achievement in the development of the management discipline at NEU.
