Recently, the final of the 28th National English Competition for College Students (Hebei Division) concluded at Hebei Normal University. Eight students from the Qinhuangdao Campus advanced to the final and won a total of 3 special prizes and 5 first prizes.
The National English Competition for College Students (NECCS) is a national English academic competition co-sponsored by institutions such as the College Foreign Language Teaching Research Association of China. It is an important platform for assessing the quality of English instruction at higher education institutions and students' overall English proficiency. In this final, students from the Qinhuangdao Campus performed outstandingly. Shen Xin won the special prize in Category B (undergraduate and junior college students majoring in English) finishing in first place. Jin Wangsiyi and Xia Fangyuan won the special prizes in Category C (undergraduate students not majoring in English). Jing Yuxuan, Luo Xinying, Tian Jingyi, Lin Zhiyue and Liu Xiaoyun won the first prizes in Category C.
