The review meeting of the scheme design and project feasibility report of construction project for Foshan Graduate School of Northeastern University was held recently. The meeting was presided over by Wang Dehua, deputy director of Shunde District Construction Bureau of Foshan Sino-german Industrial Service Zone Management Committee, and attended by relevant principals and experts in relevant fields, from relevant functional departments of Shunde District People’s Government of Foshan City, Shunbo Construction Management Co., Ltd. of Shunde District of Foshan City, Foshan graduate School of Northeastern University, Construction Design Institute of South China University of Technology, etc.
The meeting deliberated and approved the scheme design and project feasibility study report of Foshan graduate school’s construction project. At the meeting, the Architectural Design and Research Institute of South China University of Technology was requested to fully absorb the suggestions and proposals put forward by the functional departments and experts.
It is reported that the construction site of Foshan graduate school is located in Xihai District, Beijiao Town, Shunde District, Foshan City, with a total land area of 122925 ㎡ (about 184.3 mu), a total construction area of 235213.3㎡, including 45750 ㎡ of learning complex, 6600 ㎡of hall, 8420 ㎡ of canteen and teacher-student activity center, 90206 ㎡ of research center (3 buildings), 36409.60 ㎡of student dormitory (including 3187 ㎡of student activity center ), 2782.4 ㎡ of cultural and sports center, 22646 ㎡of teachers and postdoctoral apartments, 22226.3 ㎡ of basement. The overall project will be constructed before December 2020 and put into use before September 2023. Before the campus is delivered for use, government of Shunde District is responsible for providing the transitional school site of Graduate School of Northeastern University.
